The newly named cloud-based Pegasus CRS, which is based on Travel Tripper’s RezTrip, will be at the heart of the platform.
It will offer rate management tools including dynamic pricing rules, geographic pricing and integrated price checking with online travel agencies.
Gautam Lulla, CEO of Pegasus, says: “The addition of Travel Tripper’s top-rated CRS and e-commerce solutions to the Pegasus platform allows us to give hotels more control over their reservations strategy than ever before.
"The breadth and depth of our platform provides the functionality, flexibility and scalability needed to help hotels strengthen their connections to guests and maximize revenue and profitability.”
Pegasus was once synonymous with the mechanics behind the the hotel sector, having overseen one of the first CRSs and considered one of the leading providers for many years alongside the likes of Sabre and Oracle.
There was split in the original business in 2014, when the distribution switch was spun-off to eventually become DHISCO and the main business sold to Regent Equity Partners.
Former-CEO Sean Lenahan, who shifted over from principal role at Regent to take over the running of the company, said at the time of the merger that the business is growing year-on-year for the first time in five years.
Lulla was once a Pegasus employee, working as a product manager between 1999 and 2001, before leaving for a six-year stint at Amadeus. He co-founded Travel Tripper in 2008.
