Sabre Hospitality is integrating artificial intelligence capabilities with its SynXis booking engine.
The move is an expansion of its SynXis Concierge.AI, which launched a year ago, and aims to help hotels to improve communications with guests through “instant, intelligent responses.”
Hotels can manage Concierge.AI from a single inbox and have access to insights to help boost conversion and drive efficiency. Properties can also configure the technology for their property as well as at chain or brand level.
“A year ago, we announced that SynXis Concierge.AI was live and being used by our Customer Care & Delivery team to deliver faster, more accurate assistance, and it was our vision to add AI to other areas of our portfolio in thoughtful ways to move the dial for our customers (hoteliers) and their guests,” said Scott Wilson, president, Sabre Hospitality.

Wilson said “early adopter testing” on the functionality in the SynXis booking engine would happen in June with a plan to extend it to customers more widely via the community portal in July.
“This technology is deeply integrated into the booking engine, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience,” he said.
The expanded Concierge.AI include an AI-powered chatbot, available in more than 50 languages, to help with booking inquiries and provide room suggestions.
Additional features include email automation which extracts key information from emails and generates personalized offers. Hotels can also improve interaction with guests and gauge sentiment on social platforms through Social connect.
“We give hoteliers the tools to meet travelers where they are with efficiency, yet with a human touch,” said Amy Read, vice president of innovation for Sabre Hospitality. “SynXis Concierge.AI helps them scale service, increase conversions and operate more efficiency - without compromising the guest service. What sets these tools apart is the ability to combine automation with personalization, giving hotels the control to maintain their brand voice while enhancing efficiency.”
