The company had guided for high single digit growth of around 4.5% in group revenue during full-year 2025 earnings but adjusted this to mid to high-single digit growth of around 2%.
Air distribution revenue growth is now estimated at low to mid-single digit down from the mid to high-single digit forecast provided in FY 2025 earnings.
The company said booking evolution was down 7.6% in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the 0.2% decrease in Q1 2026.
“Amadeus delivered solid revenue and profit growth in the first half, while maintaining sustained commercial momentum across our businesses,” said Luis Maroto, president and CEO of Amadeus. “Despite volumes softening from March following the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, both customer demand for our solutions and our commercial pipeline remained strong. The recent slowdown in air traffic expectations has had a limited impact on our outlook, highlighting the breadth and diversification of our business across customers, segments and geographies.”
He added that the company continues to “to embed artificial intelligence capabilities across our portfolio and expand our strategic partnerships, including with Google, to orchestrate the AI-enabled travel ecosystem.”
Amadeus announced an expansion of its artificial intelligence (AI) strategy in June including an AI to hep hotels gain visibility and capture demand. The company said at the time that it was working with Google, alongside other industry leaders, to co-develop the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) for lodging.
