Fliggy, part of Alibaba Group, has launched “flyai,” a developer-facing travel skill designed to plug into AI agent workflows.
Now live on ClawHub and GitHub, the tool enables developers to integrate Fliggy’s travel inventory and services into AI-powered applications without building booking infrastructure from scratch.
Flyai is compatible with a range of Claw-based applications and agent work platforms.
Built on Fliggy’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard, “flyai” supports the full travel journey, from inspiration to booking.
The capability spans flights, hotels, attractions, ground transport, leisure activities, flight passes and hotel packages. Fliggy said the tool is designed to be plug-and-play, allowing developers to deploy travel functionality within agent environments without complex setup or integration work.
Fliggy said developers can use flyai to build applications including themed travel products and corporate travel management agents, which can incorporate functions such as dining, meeting notes and lead conversion.
Flyai is being integrated into the skill stores of major Chinese smartphone manufacturers, including Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO and Honor. The move extends the tool beyond developer platforms into smartphone ecosystems, where it could power AI-driven travel services.
The launch of flyai follows a series of recent AI initiatives from Fliggy. The platform in 2025 launched its “AskMe” assistant, which uses multiple agents to generate personalized, bookable itineraries, and its business travel arm unveiled AliBtrip, an AI solution designed to support personalized trip planning and corporate travel management.
More recently, Fliggy has advanced AI-driven booking through deeper integration with Alibaba’s ecosystem. As previously reported by PhocusWire, the company said its AI interface can now process bookings directly within Alibaba’s Qwen app, connecting travel services with payments, mapping and other commerce functions.
The company’s latest move comes as travel and technology players continue to explore different approaches to AI-powered booking.
PhocusWire's APAC theme month
In March, PhocusWire will cover key trends, funding activity and more in the APAC travel sector. Check back throughout the month for the latest reporting and analysis.
Editor’s note: This series looks at travel trends and developments across the wider APAC region. We’ve largely excluded India from our coverage. As one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing travel markets, India warrants deeper, standalone reporting.
