FCM creates chief customer officer role
FCM Travel has appointed Jo Lloyd as chief customer officer. The position expands Lloyd's current remit as global head of account management and FCM Consulting, bringing both functions under one structure. She will own the customer lifecycle across retention and growth and lead the company's global customer strategy.
Lloyd has spent her career in corporate travel, including more than 15 years at a travel management company working on preferred supplier programs, before moving into consulting.
Agoda unveils partner portal
Agoda has rebranded and updated its yield control system as the Agoda Partner Portal, giving accommodation partners revised tools across reservations, promotions, rate plans and multiproperty calendar views, plus a reworked reservation interface with clearer booking and guest information.
New artificial intelligence (AI) features summarize guest reviews into actionable insights, with curated highlights also shown on property pages. The portal links performance data to existing programs such as Agoda Dynamic Rates and Mega Sale, lets partners benchmark against nearby properties and offers eligible properties data-led suggestions up to 90 days ahead via Agoda Intelligence.
Mews secures e-money license
Mews Financial Services has been granted an e-money license by the Dutch central bank, giving it regulated status across the European Economic Area (EEA). The license lets Mews combine payment services and financial data within its existing operating system, rather than routing them through third-party processors and banks.
As a regulated entity, Mews Financial Services must meet EEA safeguarding and compliance requirements, including keeping customer funds separate from its own accounts, and will build in fraud monitoring, sanctions screening and anti-money laundering controls.
TourRadar launches loyalty program
TourRadar has launched TourRadar+, a loyalty program giving automatic discounts of up to 7% across its platform of tour operators. Savings apply regardless of which operator a traveler books with next, addressing what the company frames as a structural gap in adventure-travel loyalty: multi-day trips are typically once-a-year, repeat-destination purchases, so frequency-based airline and hotel schemes don't fit, and only a few large operators run programs covering a small share of the market.
Spotnana, Singapore Airlines
Spotnana has launched a direct New Distribution Capability (NDC) integration with Singapore Airlines, giving corporate travelers and travel agencies access to the carrier's NDC-based fares and servicing capabilities. The integration covers continuous pricing, no distribution surcharge, corporate negotiated fares, loyalty recognition during booking and self-service exchanges and cancellations.
TripWorks appoints VP of sales
TripWorks has appointed Tom Antosik as VP of sales and promoted Mara Kaufman to COO, both reporting to founder and CEO Aaron Fessler. The moves follow a funding round led by Spring Mountain Capital. Antosik has 20 years of experience in tech and wellness sales and joins from Playground, where he scaled the sales team. Kaufman, promoted from EVP of operations, will oversee operational strategy including customer success and implementation.
AirDNA launches Rentalizer Agent
AirDNA has launched Rentalizer Agent, extending its Rentalizer tool from a revenue estimator into a fuller underwriting tool for U.S. short-term rental investments.
Built on AirDNA's dataset of more than 15 million listings, it researches an address across six areas: property analysis, review sentiment from comparable listings—selected based on similarity rather than proximity—local market and seasonality conditions, applicable regulation and zoning and nearby events affecting demand. AirDNA said the tool consolidates work that previously took hours across multiple sources into a single report generated in minutes.
CTS appoints VP of product
Custom Travel Solutions (CTS) has appointed Ishan Anand as VP of product as the white-label travel loyalty platform builds out its leadership team. Anand joins from MakeMyTrip, where he led product strategy for several high-traffic businesses and built new products into growth engines. He earlier spent several years at Xerox on enterprise HR-benefits software-as-a-service platforms, including two years in the U.S.
Ryanair, Google Cloud
Ryanair and Google Cloud have signed a five-year partnership that will bring Google Workspace and Google Cloud services to 35,000 employees as the airline works toward carrying 300 million passengers annually by 2034.
The rollout includes Gemini Enterprise, Google Cloud's agentic AI platform, which will help automate decision-making, optimize crew logistics and support corporate productivity. Ryanair CEO Eddie Wilson called the deal part of a new dual-cloud strategy meant to boost infrastructure resilience alongside the airline's efficiency push.
Aven Hospitality's VP of innovation, product excellence
Aven Hospitality has named Heather Lisagor VP of innovation and product excellence, reporting to chief transformation officer Mark Hollyhead.
Lisagor brings more than 20 years of product and innovation experience from American Express Global Business Travel, Egencia and Expedia. In her new role, Lisagor will guide Aven's product roadmap, oversee evolution of the SynXis Platform and strengthen connectivity as AI-powered tools and other channels reshape how travelers discover, research and plan trips.
Navan Edge, OpenTable
OpenTable is expanding into corporate travel through a new partnership with Navan Edge, Navan's AI-powered business travel app.
The deal embeds OpenTable restaurant reservations alongside flight and hotel booking, letting corporate travelers plan an entire trip, including where to eat, from a single app. For OpenTable's restaurant partners, the integration opens a new channel to reach business diners across the Navan ecosystem.
Stay22 launches API
Stay22, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2019, has launched an API letting partners embed hotel and rental search, comparison and booking directly into their own apps or websites, without redirecting users elsewhere. Stay22 said the number of partners using the API has doubled over the past four weeks.
