Hotel guest management technology company Canary Technologies has raised $80 million in Series D funding.
Canary said the funding will be used “to accelerate the company’s global expansion as a leader in hospitality AI,” specifically amid growing demand for AI-powered guest engagements tools. The platform offers a centralized digital platform for hoteliers, helping them save time and boost revenue, while also providing a guest management platform to simplify interactions and elevate the guest experience, according to Canary’s website.
The funding round was led by Brighton Park Capital. Existing investors Insight Partners, F-Prime Capital, Thayer Ventures, Y-Combinator and Commerce Ventures also participated.

The Series D funding brings Canary’s valuation to $600 million, having raised $50 million in Series C funding last year.
“The hospitality industry is entering a new era powered by AI, and we’re proud to be at the forefront of that transformation,” said Harman Singh Narula, co-founder and CEO of Canary.
“Through intelligent, enterprise-grade solutions, we’re helping hotels run smarter, deliver faster service and create more personalized guest experiences at scale. This latest investment reflects both the extraordinary dedication of the team—whose work is redefining what’s possible—and the growing impact Canary is making across the industry. We’re energized by the strong demand and excited to expand our partnerships with many of the world’s leading hoteliers.”
Founded in 2018, the San Francisco-based company has a presence in more than 100 countries, and over the past 12 months, it has secured partnerships with Best Western, Aimbridge Hospitality, Marriott, Wyndham and TUI Hotels & Resorts, among others. It also introduced new AI tools such as AI Voice, a suite of hotel assistants that can manage calls from travelers, improve bookings and simplify operations, as well as a virtual guest services agent called AI Webchat.
“Our AI solutions are crafted in close partnership with customers, purpose-built for hospitality and deeply inspired by hoteliers’ day-to-day workflows,” said SJ Sawhney, president and co-founder of Canary.
“When our hotel partners dream of better service, smarter operations or more delightful guest experiences, our team works hard to turn those dreams into reality with precision, scale and purpose.”
