Airlines
Reporting Corp. (ARC) has acquired a majority interest in NuTravel, a
technology company that provides corporate retailing solutions for airlines.
Terms
of the deal, including what percentage of NuTravel ARC now owns, have not been
disclosed. NuTravel will operate as an independent subsidiary of ARC.
ARC
says this deal, in tandem with its recent investments in Traxo and Blockskye, further
expands its “suite of solutions for the end-to-end air travel journey,” a
priority president and CEO Mike Premo discussed in an interview at The Phocuswright
Conference in November.
“ARC is on a fast track to help airlines and travel managers
provide their travelers the streamlined, simple and consistent shopping
experience they expect, regardless of their purchasing method,” Premo says.

“NuTravel’s innovative technology and solutions are a
perfect complement to those from Traxo and Blockskye, bringing ARC’s
omnichannel strategic vision to life. We look forward to working closely in
partnership with all three companies and our customers in the coming years.”
NuTravel’s Universal Connect platform enables companies to
manage travel that is booked directly on airline websites and mobile apps,
including providing corporate rates, payment methods and travel policies for users.
