Air France-KLM has teamed up with Accenture and Google Cloud to launch a generative artificial intelligence (AI) factory to test and implement initiatives across business areas.
The companies said the cloud-based framework “provides the technological infrastructure and strategic foundation to scale gen AI across the group, accelerating the identification of high-value use cases and enabling more efficient delivery.”
In March, Air France-KLM partnered with Accenture to migrate its digital application to the cloud, moving from its three existing data centers as part of a multi-year initiative. Since then, Air France-KLM has introduced a private gen AI assistant and developed use cases to streamline tasks such as aircraft repair.

The new gen AI projects factory is hosted on Google Cloud and supports agentic AI capabilities.
The companies also said that the framework can accelerate development cycles by more than 35% “by streamlining the transition from experimentation to enterprise readiness.” The airline has seen specific improvements in ground operations, engineering and maintenance and customer service.
“This collaboration demonstrates how investing in a robust cloud-powered digital core strengthens organizational resilience and agility. By simplifying complex processes, it positions Air France-KLM to drive competitiveness in an environment of rapid digital acceleration,” said Sabine Bechelani, managing director for travel and client account lead at Accenture.
“By leveraging gen AI, we are not only simplifying the journey for customers but also unlocking significant business value. It’s a powerful example of how technology can drive both operational excellence and strategic differentiation.”
