Artificial intelligence (AI)-powered trip planning platform Mindtrip is launching new in-app features, giving users the option to capture and categorize travel inspiration.
Travelers can share articles, Instagram posts, TikTok videos, YouTube clips and Google Pins directly to Mindtrip’s app. With these capabilities, users will now be able to take inspiration from “anywhere,” according to Mindtrip, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2025.
“With so much travel inspiration at our fingertips across mobile web and social apps, it’s easy for travelers to feel overwhelmed,” said Andy Moss, co-founder and CEO of Mindtrip. “Our new AI-powered tools bring it all together in one place—right inside the app.”
The flow will be similar to sharing a piece of content from other platforms. When the user opts to share, Mindtrip will be shown as an option, similar to text or Slack.

This should simplify the inspiration process, according to Mindtrip, as users can store, organize and plan in one location instead of saving travel content for inspiration on different platforms.
In the app, the shared content can be saved by type, added to trips and revisited later in collections. Additionally, Mindtrip enhances each imported piece of content or pin with additional photos and details.
Users can use the tools to plan trips with other travelers, and Mindtrip’s creator community can also build collections based on their social content and Google Pins. From there, creators can share and monetize content using the Mindtrip app.
“By becoming the hub where all travel inspiration lives, Mindtrip bridges the gap between discovery and action, turning what used to be fleeting moments on a feed into real trips ready to explore,” Moss said.
Mindtrip unveiled its mobile app in June, just a year after the company launched in May 2024 and following a $7 million seed raise in 2023.
Additionally, in September 2024, the company raised $12 million and announced a group chat feature. Then, in October 2024, it raised additional funding and launched a receipt tool. In November, it launched a B2B solution. And in March, Mindtrip acquired Thatch.
