Hotel management software company Cloudbeds has announced an integration with Meta's artificial intelligence (AI) agent, Muse.
The integration is scheduled to roll out to U.S.-based Cloudbeds customers in the first quarter of 2027.
Participating hotels will appear in Muse with live rates and availability. Bookings will be completed through the hotel's own Cloudbeds-based booking tool and flow into its property management system as direct bookings.
Cloudbeds said the integration better positions hoteliers as AI-powered travel search and discovery increases, helping reach guests without increasing dependence on intermediaries.
"Every time travel discovery shifts—metasearch, mobile, now AI agents—the industry’s reflex is to let someone else own the guest and charge the hotelier for the privilege. We’re not doing that again," said Adam Harris, CEO of Cloudbeds.
"When an agent finds a property that runs on Cloudbeds, the booking lands where it belongs: in the hotelier’s own system, as a direct booking, with the guest relationship intact.”
The company also noted that hotels won't need a separate integration or a new system to connect to Muse.
Muse launched in September, offering flight booking within Muse via U.K.-based Duffel and direct booking with airlines.
The agent can search for hotels and offer comparisons, with booking completed on the seller's website. Late last month, Expedia said it would enable travelers to book hotels through Muse, but a formal launch date has not been announced.
