A Series A funding round to the tune of $11 million has come the way of Impala, a platform for hotel software providers to connect to hotel inventory and services.
The U.K.-based company was launched in 2017 and had previously raised $1.8 million in April 2018.
The new round was led by Stride.VC, Kima Ventures and Jerry Murdock, a former-board member at Twitter and co-founder of Insight Partners.

Other investors include Speedinvest, Venrex Investment Management and members of the DST Global partnership.
Impala's core piece of functionality is its ability to connect a vendor to a hotel's inventory, pricing and other data with just "ten lines of code."
The platform does this by connecting directly to the hotel or chain's software stack, transmitting the data down Impala's pipe and turning it into an API for the vendor.
Impala does have some limitations, the company concedes, with only around 30% of hotels worldwide able to connect to the platform due to their underlying systems.
The company says the new funding will be used to expand the platform to allow for more integrations with different systems.
CEO Ben Stephenson says it will also allow intermediaries such as online travel agencies and travel management companies to use the system to check inventory and make bookings.
He adds: "Travel is a $2 trillion industry that runs on technology that has been unfit for purpose for 20 years.
"It's been so difficult to access data that the industry still relies on spreadsheets and emails going back and forth to exchange key data.
"By changing this, Impala enables truly innovative guest experiences and soon, will power the Bookings and Expedias of the future."
