Australia-based Corporate Travel Management (CTM) has acquired 1000 Mile Travel Group to expand its interest in the business travel market through the independent consultant [IC] model. Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2015, 1000 Mile Travel is a network of independent travel experts specializing in business travel services across Australia and the United Kingdom.
Established in 1994, CTM is a global provider of travel solutions spanning corporate, events, leisure, loyalty and wholesale travel.

Jamie Pherous, CTM founder and managing director, says the acquisition “will complement CTM’s strategic corporate travel offering while delivering significant benefits to 1000 Mile Travel’s network of independent agents and their customers.

CTM acquired Helloworld Corporate for A$175 million in December 2021. CTM has also opened is first wholly owned office in Japan.
