The move is major: Since Amazon’s ill-fated attempt to build a hotel business in 2014, the industry has waited with bated breath for what would it would try next.
With the global travel market valued at $1.5 trillion, of course Amazon wants a slice of that pie as it establishes itself as a one-stop shop for all consumer needs.
