Solutions for Business Travel (S4BT) has acquired Travel Centric Technology, the parent company of London-based HotelHub, for an undisclosed amount.
S4BT, which provides solutions for the business travel sector, said the acquisition improves its technological capabilities, expands its engagement across major travel markets and broadens its global footprint, specifically to the U.K. HotelHub will enable S4BT to “deliver a fully integrated corporate hotel offering” to travel management companies (TMCs), the company said.
HotelHub brings the group's portfolio to eight corporate travel brands. The company also includes CDS, Goelett, CRC, TMS, SIAP, Methodica and Trevium.
“Our ambition is clear: to build the most integrated and technologically advanced business travel platform,” said Ziad Minkara, founder and group CEO of S4BT.
“The acquisition of HotelHub is a decisive step in that direction. It takes S4BT into a new league, strengthens our position and establishes a solid presence in the U.K. This is not an endpoint but a foundation on which we will continue to invest, integrate and execute.”
S4BT also said that HotelHub’s hotel infrastructure will integrate with its booking platforms, payments solutions and invoicing capabilities to improve value and operational control.
“Joining S4BT allows HotelHub to accelerate its mission at a new scale,” said HotelHub CEO Jay Virdee.
“By combining our distribution technology with S4BT’s operational expertise and financial capabilities, we can deliver greater value to TMCs and their corporate clients across the globe.”
