Barcelona-based Immfly, an in-flight digital services provider, has acquired data solutions firm Data Clarity for an undisclosed amount.
The companies are outlining new capabilities at the World Aviation Festival in Lisbon today, noting in a press release that the strategic partnership addresses the disconnected systems and siloed solutions that airlines struggle with.
Immfly and Data Clarity said they will now be able to “deliver a single platform united passenger engagement, in-flight connectivity and data-driven retail forecasting.” Airlines will benefit with improved control and clarity via the real-time insights, optimized retail and “hyper-personalized passenger journeys.”

“This isn’t just about technology, it’s about redefining how airlines connect with passengers and unlock value,” said Jimmy M. von Korff, executive chairman and co-founder of Immfly.
“By uniting our strengths, we’re creating a new benchmark for efficiency, revenue growth and loyalty in the skies.”
Earlier this year, Immfly partnered with Canada’s Flair Airlines and TUI Airline group to bring its technology onboard flights. Digital solutions include connectivity services like Wi-Fi and retail and entertainment options. Immfly currently has partnerships with over 50 airlines across Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia-Pacific.
In early 2020, the company received an investment from Boeing, and while the total amount wasn't disclosed, a spokesperson said was in the “double digit” millions.
