- Tours4Fun introduced a free iPhone app, enabling users to search and book tours, activities and vacations, and to look for travel companions. The app enables users to search by tours, departure cities, most popular tours and nearby attractions.
- Jetsetter hired Barry Herstein, the company's first chief marketing officer. Herstein formerly was global CMO of PayPal and most recently was general manager, Americas, and global CMO for Snapfish. "We've been thrilled with the growth and success we've seen from partnership with Gilt and the organic growth of the business, but we haven't put a lot of muscle and dollars behind marketing yet," says CEO Drew Patterson of the hire. "Barry will help us take on that stage of our development."
- The airline-own settlement group ARC enhanced its partnership with Bloomberg and will provide more airline performance data to stock brokers and other financial professionals subscribing to Bloomberg terminal services. On the terminals' airline dashboard, ARC dissects monthly airline ticket transactions from 2008 to the present.
- Pegasus Solutions introduced RezView Intelligence, which provides several reports designed to enable hoteliers to identify revenue opportunities through various distribution channels. RezView Intelligence is available to Pegasus RezView NG customers.
