U.S.-based
Simpleview has acquired JackRabbit
Systems, a tourism-focused software company.
The
acquisition comes less than a month after Simpleview announced a merger with
Liverpool-based Tourism Media Group, a provider of
tourism marketing websites and online tools.
Simpleview provides CRM, CMS, website design, digital marketing, revenue generation and mobile technologies, to more than 900 travel, tourism and convention marketing customers on six continents.

Simpleview adds approximately 135 new DMO
clients with the acquisition, expanding its customer base to more than 900
destinations, including nearly all the top-tier meetings and leisure
destinations in North America and many top destinations around the world.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
