Metasearch engine Kayak, clearly basking in the praise it has received for its free iPad app, is rolling out local versions to keep up with the launch of the device in new countries.
First up will be the UK, which was due to have its official retail iPad launch at the end of April but Apple has since delayed it until at least mid-May.
Kayak says it will also shortly be adding hotel search, car rental search and trip management tools found on the main website to the iPad app in the next version.
Contrary to the Lonely Planet iPad app, which was widely criticised on its launch and saw its price cut in half within a few days, Kayak's service has won plaudits from some key figures and organisations in the tech world.
High profile tech blogger and commentator Robert Scoble professed his love for the app within days of its launch and industry magazine Wired also named it in the top 15 apps developed so far.
Kayak says it will also be rolling out the iPad in the France and German markets.
