Uber and Lyft together appear on 16% of all expense claims, according to research from Certify.
In its quarterly report, which analyzes more than 10 million expenses, the expense technology specialist says Uber was the most expensed supplier overall for the quarter with almost 13% of expenses.
Starbucks came in as the second most expensed company with just over 4% of expenses with Amazon and Delta coming fourth and fifth.
Across all food, Starbucks was the most expensed option for the quarter with just over 5% of transactions.
It was also the most expense breakfast option at 17.39% of all breakfast expenses while McDonald’s was both the top lunch and dinner choice.

Marriott topped the hotel transactions at just over 10% followed by Hampton Inn at almost 9%.
When it comes to pure ride-hailing transactions, Uber covered almost 73% of expense claims compared to Lyfts almost 22%.
Taxis made up the remainder with almost 6% of ride-hailing transactions.
Average cost of an Uber came in at $25.37 and $25.51 for Lyft compared to taxis which were $36.17.
Scooters are now featuring on expense claims according to the Certify SpendSmart report with Lime taking about 58% of scooter transactions followed by about 30% for Bird.
