Amsterdam-based Vio.com was founded in 2016 by CEO Oz Har Adir.
The company says its business model helps customers access better value across accommodations and book at the right time.
As an external accommodation partner, Vio.com focuses on offering customers "better prices, more transparency and less stress," according to co-founder and CEO Oz Har Adir.
"We give users better access to better prices. We help them book at the right time, and we stay in touch with them before their booking and reward them after their booking," Har Adir said during a pitch presentation as part of Phocuswright's Launch: Innovator program.
"When you combine all of that, you're not just selling hotels anymore. You deliver a hotel offering you would actually be proud of, as are some of the brands who have chosen Vio this year."
According to Har Adir, Vio enables brands to offer their customers lower rates that hotels often offer to closed user groups. It also offers flexible booking tools and automatic booking during price drops.
"We basically turn price volatility into a value creator and away from a customer fear factor," Har Adir said at The Phocuswright Conference.
He also highlighted Vio's reward system, guest communication strategies and its ability to charge customers in local currency across 29 languages.
"All those little things, they are needed for customers to actually book on your platform," Har Adir said.
