TravCorp Holdings has acquired Specialist Holidays Group from experiential travel company Travelopia for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition was supported by TravCorp’s existing investment partner, BGF.
United Kingdom-based TravCorp focuses on “value-led, bespoke travel experiences” and is the parent company of Destination2, Destination2 Cruise and Holiday Gems.
According to TravCorp, the acquisition “brings a highly complementary collection of specialist travel businesses and talented individuals” into its portfolio, which already specializes in the MIddle East, Indian Ocean and cruise markets.

U.K.-based Specialist Holidays Group owns United States travel specialist American Holidays, Italian travel specialist Citalia and luxury travel brand Sovereign Luxury Travel.

Helen Adamson, the company’s managing director, will remain in her role following the acquisition, reporting to Andy Freeth, the new group CEO of TravCorp Holdings Ltd.
