VIDEO: Short-term rental sector diversifies as traveler and host preferences evolve

The private accommodation market has been evolving for years.

It originated with resort and vacation homes, then grew to include room and apartment rentals and in recent years there’s been a rapid uptake of property management companies – according to Phocuswright, 50% of homeowners now use a property manager, up from 10% in 2015.

So what changes will the sector see in the next few years?
