Homelike, the temporary rental platform for corporate travelers that shut down earlier this year, has been acquired by Italy-based Roomless Srl, the company behind housing solutions platform Spacest.com. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition pertains to digital assets previously owned by Homelike Internet GmbH, including the domain name and the Homelike logo and branding.
As of the July 2 announcement, traffic to www.thehomelike.com is now automatically redirected to Spacest.com, “ensuring continuity for the brand’s long-standing users and opening the door to a fresh, enhanced digital experience.”

The website homepage announces the acquisition, offering Spacest.com as an alternative for landlords and tenants in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, France, the United Kingdom and the United States, among other countries.
In March, Germany-based Homelike announced it was ceasing operations after 10 years in business, confirming that it would not be accepting new bookings on the platform. Before shutting down, Homelike maintained a catalogue of over 70,000 furnished properties in Europe and the United States.
Spacest.com said the move is a “decisive strategic step” that will reinforce its presence in Northern Europe, “where Homelike had built a strong reputation as the go-to solution for corporate medium- and long-term rentals.”
“With this acquisition, Spacest.com not only strengthens its visibility in markets historically dominated by Homelike but also cements its ambition to become the European benchmark for high-quality flexible rentals,” the company said.
