BizTrip AI, an AI-powered assistant for business travelers, has launched inside Claude and ChatGPT.
The integration uses model context protocol (MCP) Apps, which support an interactive user interface instead of just plain text, enabling users to plan and book trips inside the large language models. Business travelers can use natural language, with the agent then surfacing personalized and policy-compliant options.
BizTrip said the move better positions the company as AI changes how enterprise software reaches end users.
"Rather than requiring employees to log into a dedicated booking tool, travel planning now happens inside the AI assistants many teams already use throughout their workday," BizTrip said.
The BizTrip AI integration is live for both Claude and ChatGPT users, and travel managers and business travelers are able to connect within either assistant. Interactive widgets are rendered inline in the chat.
"So many teams are living inside Claude and ChatGPT all day—this puts business travel where the work already happens," said Valerie Layman, head of product strategy at BizTrip AI.
"By bringing our planning and booking capabilities directly into these interfaces, we are meeting users exactly where they are, eliminating the friction of switching between apps and making corporate travel as seamless as a conversation."
BizTrip AI, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2026, raised $1.5 million in pre-seed funding in February, bringing its total funding to $2.5 million.
In July, travel and spend management company Perk launched Perk MCP to link Perk to Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP-compatible assistants. The following month, it expanded MCP capabilities to allow employees to manage travel, submit expenses and create events within AI assistants.
Navan, Vibe and American Express Global Business Travel also announced MCP launches this summer.
