Japan-based
global online travel company Venture Republic is launching a new chat-based
corporate travel booking and management service in collaboration with LINE
Works, the business chat service division of Japanese communications company
Works Mobile Japan.
Known
as Travel jp for Business, the service uses chatbots and human travel
concierges to help business travelers book and manage trips for domestic and
international travel. Users can also get information about travel delays and
COVID-19 prevention practices being used by hotels, airlines and other suppliers.

The
service also provides assistance with cancellations and compensation for costs
incurred by cancellations. Venture Republic says Travel jp for Business is the
first official third-party app on the LINE Works platform.
Along
with the launch of the service, Venture Republic and Works Mobile Japan are
also announcing new sales partnerships for Travel jp for Business with
Softbank, USEN Smart Works and Ryogeisya.
To
use Travel jp for Business, users must register with LINE Works, but fees are only
accrued when a booking is confirmed.
