TravelSnap.AI
TravelSnap.AI aims to help travel companies attract more customers by turning guest feedback into searchable video content. The platform prompts travelers to record short video reviews after their stays or experiences, then using AI to verify, analyze, translate and publish video stories on the brand’s websites and apps.
The startup is pursuing growth through partnerships with travel technology providers, allowing it to reach customers through the systems they already use. Its subscription-based service aims to simplify the collection and management of guest reviews while improving visibility in AI-powered search.
What is your 30-second pitch to investors?
Travi is an AI agent that turns customer feedback into reasons to buy and get found by AI. It collects, translates and publishes real video stories that help D2C businesses get discovered in AI search—while driving engagement and revenue on your own website.
Describe both the business and technology aspects of your startup.
Business: Subscription-based B2B SaaS product sold to travel, e-commerce, OTAs, CRMs, PMSs, STRs and D2C service providers, distributed primarily through native integrations starting with Guesty. Growth is partner-led: Rather than competing for attention through paid acquisition, Travi reaches users where they already manage their business.
Technology: The core product is an agentic AI workflow, not a dashboard tool. After a check-in, guests receive a notification, tap to record a short video and submit—no texting, no app download. Travi then verifies the video against the real booking, moderates it, extracts sentiment and key attributes (what guests actually valued about the stay), translates and dubs it into any language, adds proper transcripts and markups (for AI visibility) and automatically generates a personalized offer published to the host's website and app.
On the host side, the entire workflow—including content approval—can run by voice command instead of a traditional dashboard, which matters for a customer base that doesn't want another piece of software to learn.
Give us your SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis of the company.
Strengths: Purpose-built for traffic acquisition from AI, a category none of the established "text" review platforms address directly. Voice-first management, no-typing guest capture, any-language translation and done-for-you analysis on AI search visibility are genuine product differentiators, along with our patent. Transparent, public, self-serve pricing.
Weaknesses: A new startup without established brand recognition. Easy fix.
Opportunities: First-mover positioning in "agentic video review infrastructure that sells for you" ahead of a dominant player emerging. Natural expansion path to next-in-pipeline platforms. Agentic AI adoption is accelerating across multiple markets; TravelSnap is positioned squarely inside that shift rather than adjacent to it.
Threats: Any partner could choose to build this capability natively, reducing our distribution advantage. An incumbent with more capital could enter the space. The question is, how fast can they deliver?
What are the travel pain points you are trying to alleviate from both the customer and the industry perspective?
From the traveler's side: Deciding between rental properties usually comes down to a star rating and curated photos—neither actually shows or conveys what a stay is like in their own language. There's no easy way to see, hear or feel what a real past guest experienced.
From the industry's side: Hospitality businesses in the travel space pay commission—roughly 15.5% to Airbnb, around 15% on average to Booking.com, and about 8%-10% to Vrbo—on every booking that defaults to an OTA, even when that guest would have booked direct if they trusted the host's own website the way they trust Airbnb's reviews. Manually collecting, translating and publishing guest content is also a full content operations job that most portfolios of 5+ properties don't have dedicated staff for.
Now that the product is built, what's your strategy for customer acquisition?
Our primary channel is distribution through B2B partnerships, servicing Guesty, Hospitable and a few others. This reaches tens of thousands of property managers at the point where they're already managing their business, rather than competing for attention through paid acquisition.
Tell us what process you've gone through to establish a genuine need for your company and the size of the addressable market.
The U.S. short-term rental market is projected to reach $76.46 billion in 2026, growing to $125.14 billion by 2033, while European markets generated $47.12 billion in 2025. [These are] the two regions TravelSnap.AI is targeting first. Within that, our immediate addressable market is thousands of property managers on Guesty alone, before we bring additional unicorn platforms to the table.
How and when will you make money?
We run it on a monthly SaaS subscription. The current starting price is $79 a month per account, a small price for a 2x AI traffic uplift.
What are the backgrounds and previous achievements of the founding team?
[TravelSnap was] founded by travel tech and growth hacking insiders.
Victor Nikonets (CEO) previously founded and scaled OTA b0arding.com from zero to 3.5 million hotel listings in 12 months. Before that, he operated a chain of hostels servicing the Gen Z demographic with $12 million in annual revenue. [He previously worked at] Groupon in strategic partnerships and sales.
Daniel Ibanez (CMO) scaled a consumer app from zero to 1 million MAU in one year with $0 CAC. Ex-senior full-stack engineer turned growth hacker (pSEO, SEO, GEO), with seven years building and scaling startups.
Alex Lurev (CTO) built APIs for Amadeus, Booking.com, Google Hotels, Ratehawk, Hotelbeds, Guesty, etc., with 22 years in DevOps, seven years in high-load development in travel tech and the last two years in AI infrastructure development.
How have you addressed diversity and inclusion within your business?
The entire team consists of first-generation immigrants with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
What's been the most difficult part of founding the business so far?
Closing a deal with the first enterprise-level partner, but it's done!
Generally, travel startups face a tough time making an impact. Why are you going to be one of the lucky ones?
Most travel startups compete directly for a traveler's attention, which is an expensive, crowded fight. Travelsnap.AI doesn't; it distributes through B2B partnerships, which means the cost of reaching a customer is low and the product shows up inside an existing workflow rather than asking for a new one. Combined with a product wedge that none of the established review platforms have built, we're not fighting for share of an existing category—we're building a new one inside distribution channels that already trust us.
A year from now, what state do you think your startup will be in?
A reasonable one-year trajectory would include a meaningfully larger base of active enterprise-level partnerships and published case studies with real (not projected) results. We are currently onboarding the next partner.
What is your endgame? (Going public, acquisition, growing and staying private, etc.)
We're entirely focused on becoming the default way travel, hospitality and other businesses turn guest feedback into more traffic and cash. We're building for the long term. Growing profitably and staying independent is absolutely a viable path for us. That said, we're realistic that the biggest platforms eventually want to own the pieces that move the needle on UX and conversion, so we wouldn't rule out a strategic partnership or acquisition down the line if it accelerated the mission. Right now, though, our focus is 100% on proving the product at scale.
