Strategic goals for 2026
Bonafide focused on building the foundation for alignment across core travel verticals—hospitality, airlines and DMOs. In 2026, we’re entering the growth phase, expanding internationally and extending our platform to cruises, rental cars and travel loyalty programs. As generative AI moves toward agentic commerce in 2026, travelers will increasingly rely on AI assistants to research, compare and book directly—bypassing traditional websites. To enable this new flow, Bonafide will enable travel brands to effectively leverage the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the emerging standard that lets LLMs access verified, brand-controlled content and APIs. Bonafide empowers travel suppliers to aggregate, verify and distribute LLM-ready content through MCP, ensuring their products are correctly represented and prioritized within AI systems.
Lessons learned since founding
Consumers are using LLMs in fundamentally different ways than search engines—asking more granular, conversational and context-rich questions and expecting precise, trustworthy answers.
Think of questions like: “Does this hotel room have both a shower curtain and a bathtub?” We initially assumed that this level of detail was readily available within the existing tech stacks of major travel brands. However, we discovered that the content powering these answers often didn’t exist, was outdated or wasn’t easily accessible to AI systems. Because these granular facts are now critical to being recommended and booked, Bonafide dedicated part of 2025 to developing automated tools that help travel brands build, verify and maintain LLM-ready content and data—ensuring their properties are accurately represented in the new discovery and booking ecosystem.
