Google is expanding AI Mode globally and introducing more agentic and personalized capabilities.
The search giant said it is bringing AI Mode to over 180 new countries and territories, expanding beyond the United States, the United Kingdom and India, where it currently offers its “most powerful AI search experience.” The company said it plans to expand even further and in different languages soon.
One of the latest AI Mode features includes enhanced options for finding restaurant reservations, local appointments and event tickets, which is being rolled out for Google AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S. via the “Agentic capabilities in AI Mode” experiment in Labs.

Using Project Mariner, direct partner integrations on Search and Knowledge Graph and Google Maps, you can now type in specific parameters for reservations, like party size, date, time and type of cuisine, with AI Mode then providing a list of restaurants and direct links to booking pages. Google is leveraging partnerships with OpenTable, Resy, Tock, Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek and Booksy, among others.
Additionally, U.S. users who’ve opted into the AI Mode experiment in Labs can now receive personalized restaurant and cuisine recommendations, with the tech using previous conversations, search information and other data to learn preferences. Google is also introducing a link-sharing capability in the U.S. so that users can share AI Mode responses and allow others to ask follow-up questions or collaborate on a search.
Also this week, Google launched Magic Cue for its Pixel 10 series phones, providing specific benefits for travelers. The search giant said the feature “lets your phone anticipate your needs and, without interrupting your flow, gives you that bit of assistance or information right when you need it.”
Google used the example of a friend texting to ask when your flight lands, which will prompt Magic Cue to pull that detail from your emailed itinerary and suggest the time in your keyboard.
Google went on to add that Magic Cue “treats your information confidentially and securely” and users can turn it off and on.
