Tours and activities booking platform Gondola has acquired Tour Boogie, a tech company specializing in tour websites and software, for an undisclosed sum.
The merger will help tours and activities providers boost their bottom lines by increasing online direct bookings. According to Gondola, tours and experiences operators worldwide currently pay 25% to 50% of their profits to online travel agencies to get customers.
Gondola CEO Vitaliy Levit calls the move a “win-in” that “ultimately benefits the tour companies who work with us, so they can get their own bookings and stop overpaying for customers.”

Drew Stromberg, former CEO and founding engineer of Tour Boogie, joins Gondola as lead software engineer.
“Initially, I invented a functional piece of software that really empowered tour companies to thrive without relying on the bigger companies that leeched their profit,” Stromberg says.
“Incorporating our tech with Gondola made sense and has been hugely beneficial to get our tech in front of more operators.”
Gondola, founded in 2021, integrates with booking systems including Peek Pro, Rezdy, FareHarbor and Checkfront.
