Indian "professionals" spend more than two hours (per month) browsing on their mobiles at Indian airports, a study has revealed.
AdNear, a Big Data-focused mobile ad targeting company, has compiled an infographic that highlights the mobile engagement by various users at Indian airports, their travel patterns, and more.
The six airports featured in the study were Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkota, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.
AdNear carried out the study on 650,000 travellers (using a mobile/tablet) at these airports for the duration of three months - January, February and March 2014. The company executed the study by tracking users via cell tower signals, wifi and GPS signals.
