Blueprint Equity and TIMIA Capital are behind a debut funding round for RocketRez, a provider of technology to tour and attraction operator.
The Series A investment of $6.6 million is made up of $5 million from Blueprint and the rest in revenue-based financing from TIMIA.
Canada-based RocketRez, created in 2011 and fronted by CEO John Pendergrast, provides tech to attractions, museums, tours and zoos.
The platform includes services such as reservation systems, security, CRM, payments and marketing.
As a result of investment, Blueprint managing partners Bobby Ocamp and Sheldon Lewis will join the board of directors at RocketRez.
Ocampo says: "Every customer raved about RocketRez’s product and customer service. It’s not often we see that, especially in a less than ideal environment for the tourism and attractions industry, and it shows in the company’s immense growth, this year in particular.”
The RocketRez system currently intregrates with a number of distribution partners for sales, including Expedia, GetYourGuide, Klook and Viator.
