Growth was steady in the US travel market in 2017, with all segments seeing an increase of from 1 to 5% over 2016.
Online sales in particular outperformed the market as a whole, which advanced 3% overall.
Last year saw suppliers work to boost online direct sales, and online travel agencies – namely Expedia and Booking.com – also had a notable year.
