Reposite has disclosed $2.5 million in funding for its workspace platform for the travel industry.
Funding for the startup was led by Liberty City Ventures and will be used to help Reposite grow.
The startup was developed during the pandemic to help trade partners manage relationships and reduce manual processes.
Founders Jaime Getto, Alexa Berube and Heather Stupi were focused on their vintage car tours startup Nowaday when the pandemic hit.
Nowaday had attracted $3.5 million funding from Greycroft, Pritzker and Raine a year ago with the investors all supportive of the new venture.
Reposite has managed to attract some large travel organizations to the platform including New York’s Madison Square Garden, MoMA, Guggenheim Museum and American Museum of Natural History.
The idea of the startup is to provide a database for travel companies to store and manage vendor and supplier relationships.
It also helps users to keep track of prospective and existing business by enabling them to track key documents and manage renewals and payments.
The startup plans to add a “Discovery” feature in the coming weeks enabling travel companies to search for potential new distribution partnership using various criteria including location, group size and budget.
