AccorHotels has been on a digital journey since 2014 when it announced its five-year digital transformation strategy.
The hotel company has made a string of investments technology, vacation rental and concierge services.
During her keynote at the Phocuswright Conference, Maud Bailly, chief digital officer, provides her view on the event’s theme - the Power Paradox - saying that it is not necessarily the strong or the most intelligent that will survive.
She also talks of how the company is customizing trips for guests and the importance of digital localization.
