We are forever hearing that the hotel model is under threat from, well, basically everything and everyone.

Hospitality and entertainment legend Ian Schrager had some strong words to say about the situation last week.

But perhaps the circumstances that hotels find themselves in is not as gloomy as some predict - it's just a case of refining their distribution channels and getting smarter with the overall experience.
