The COVID-19 pandemic has had a particularly brutal impact on the meetings and events industry.
However, as soon as the opportunity for corporate travel resumes, meetings and events travelers are eager to get back to business, according to a new report from Phocuswright Research.
In fact, nine out of 10 travelers are willing to attend meetings and events even if the coronavirus still poses a threat, and only 23% of travelers plan to cut back travel to only attend essential meetings or events.

In the report titled U.S. Meetings and Event Travel: Where They Work, Stay and Play, Phocuswright delves into the meetings and events marketplace dynamics and opportunities in the United States.
The study also examines how meetings and events travelers plan to get where they’re going, the types of meetings they feel comfortable attending and where they intend to stay.
