Visa has launched Visa Destinations, a consumer travel platform that gives cardholders access to experiences, city guides and travel benefits in 10 locations.
The platform offers experiences in Paris, London, Dubai, Milan, Rome, Mexico City, New York City, Miami, San Francisco and Thailand.
Available exclusively to Visa cardholders, Visa Destinations includes recommendations across dining, entertainment, culture, hospitality, wellness, shopping and transport. Offerings include priority access to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck at Rockefeller Center in New York City and the Louvre in Paris. Visa Infinite and Visa Signature cardholders receive additional benefits.
Visa said the platform is part of its effort to expand its role beyond payments.
The company cited its 2026 Global Travel Intentions Study, which found four in 10 American travelers took a trip in 2025 to attend a music, sports or arts festival.
"With Visa Destinations, we are accompanying travelers throughout their journey and helping them discover the moments that make a destination memorable, while giving our issuers and merchant partners a meaningful way to participate in the economic growth that travel creates," said Katya Petelina, head of global cross-border and global sales and commercial operations at Visa.
The company has partnered with Santander Group, Global Blue, Star Alliance and Trip.com Group to provide cardholders with travel-related benefits and experiences through the platform.
Visa said more destinations will be added later this year.
