Liil Ventures has led a €4 million investment round into Spanish startup Meep.
The Series A funding round comes just over a year since a €1.5 million seed round into the mobility app and white label platform.
The Madrid-based company says it plans to use the financing to expand the service into 11 new cities during 2021, giving it a total of 18 since its launch in 2017.
The app acts as a platform for users to secure tickets across a range of transportation networks in a destination.
Meep has secured partnerships in four countries - including its home territory of Spain - so far.
Alongside ticket selling capabilities, Meep acts as a journey planner across transport networks for users and integrates bus, rail and shared rides.
Behind the scenes the mobility-as-a-service technology handles payments and integrates with corporate and personal accounts.
