“The cruise sector specialized in theme travel and event-based tourism requires highly specialized technology,” said Juan Mateos Tejedor, CEO of Juniper Travel Technology. “Entering this sector marks a significant step for Juniper, reinforcing our commitment to delivering the most advanced solutions across all cruise areas.”
RezMagic’s platform combines a customer-facing booking engine with a backend management suite. RezMagic’s software will be integrated into the Juniper Travel Technology ecosystem as part of an effort to drive efficiency and innovation in travel software.
“The union of RezMagic and Juniper allows us to continue supporting businesses in the American market, where RezMagic has a strong presence,” Tejedor said. “We remain highly committed to innovation, providing tourism companies with the tools they need to optimize their operations and deliver exceptional experiences."
Mark Burmby, CEO of Florida-based RezMagic, said the company is thrilled to become part of Juniper.
“This partnership will enable us to reach new markets and significantly expand both our product capabilities and distribution network,” Bubmy said. “Joining Juniper secures a long-term home for our product, our team and—most importantly—our customers. It’s a foundation where we can all grow and thrive together.”
The opportunity to work with other Juniper Group brands is also valuable, Bumby said. “It allows us to offer our customers access to industry-leading products and services that go well beyond our core offerings.”
Juniper Group, which is part of Constellation Software Inc. and Vela Software, has had a number of acquisitions in recent years. In January, Juniper acquired InterRES, and in 2024, the company acquired Lleego and Traveltek. In 2023, the company also acquired travel industry technology and data services provider Vervotech.
