Shake-up of sorts at user review giant TripAdvisor as the company outlines where it sees long term potential to expand the business.
The company says it is "focusing more of our energies" in new areas, such as creating a division purely to handle its B2B products such as Business Listings and Vacation Rentals, clearly signifying how important both have become since their launches in 2010 and 2009 respectively.
Chief marketing officer Christine Petersen will become president of TripAdvisor For Business, the newly formed division's name.
Other areas of the business such as the new paid-for tourist board listings will also presumably come under Petersen's remit.
But despite the recent moves into new revenue areas, global domination appears to still be at the top of the board room white board, with another new division created to spearhead the company's expansion into Asia-Pacific.
But with China and India already in the locker, TripAdvisor is now looking at other, admittedly smaller, marketplaces around the region.
Current European MD Marc Charron, who brought TripAdvisor to the UK in 2006 (it's first overseas launch), will move to Singapore to oversee development of TripAdvisor in countries such as Thailand, Malaysia and elsewhere.
The company already has local sites in Japan and Australia.
TripAdvisor would clearly never admit its existing markets and commercial revenue streams have stagnated, but CEO Steve Kaufer says the dual move will "support segments and geographical areas with the highest growth potential".
