Sitata, a global health, safety and risk management
service for travelers, is expanding its offerings to better serve corporate
travel needs.
Launched in 2012, Sitata informs travelers about
risks such as disease outbreaks, protests, labor strikes, violence and extreme
weather.
The updates are tailored to meet duty of care needs
of businesses of all sizes. They include itinerary management, chat assistance
and a health service that connects travelers to doctors in Sitata’s network for
video calls, advice, clinic visits and pre-trip consultations.

The platform also has added GPS capabilities so travelers
can easily share updates with their employer or family and companies can track
employees’ locations – unless the app is in privacy mode.
“The
growth of Sitata is tied to the unwavering need the market has shown for a
solution that keeps travelers updated on local happenings, while simultaneously
providing assistance for problems that arise while abroad,” says Adam St. John,
Sitata founder and CEO.
