Partnership with Priceline ushers Ramp into business travel booking

Ramp, a finance operations platform for businesses, is stepping up its focus on travel through a partnership with Priceline on a product to simplify automating expenses while booking travel.

Ramp already works with more than 25,000 businesses on consolidating expenses and controlling costs and financial operations. The launch of Ramp Travel expands its services into business travel booking with the partnership providing access to Priceline’s network of airline and accommodations offerings.

"Ramp already makes companies' finances more efficient by streamlining expenses and automating busywork," said Ramp CEO Eric Glyman. "By integrating travel booking, which has traditionally been a pain point for busywork and bloat, organizations have more time and resources to focus on what really matters: their business."

At November’s Phocuswright Conference in Florida, company officials explained how Ramp’s policy controls, artificial intelligence automations and integrations help companies simplify traveling for work – things like like expense reports, long approval times to book travel and delayed visibility into how employees are spending on trips as they happen.

Through the new relationship with Priceline Partner Solutions, Ramp customers now have access to Priceline's full breadth of global travel products spanning over 116 countries.

"We're excited to partner with Ramp to help take the friction out of business travel for corporate customers and improve the experience for both employees and employers."

In 2022, Ramp released a travel-specific solution designed to help companies enforce policies, ease expense reporting and provide data to travel managers. In April, Ramp raised $150 million in a new funding round.
