MI Airline, a device-based system to help air cabin crew organise and assist passengers during a flight, has secured Euro 1.2 million in a second round of investment.
The capital comes by way of the Mainport Innovation Fund, a project backed by KLM, Schiphol Group, Delft University of Technology and Rabobank.
It is the second wave of investment from MIF into MI Airline - the first tranche was not disclosed.
THe platform works by providing constiantly updated information to crew about passengers before a trip, as they board and during a flight, so they can manage seating and requirements.
It also works out the best way to help with passenger connections to other flights, group management and also feedback on services.
The company was formed in 2010 and is headed by CEO Job Heimerikx.
It is hoped the latest round of funding will help MI Airline extend its portfolio of tablet devices to others airlines around the world.
MIF has previous invested in a number of aviation-focused services including radar systems, flight simulators, smart-card platforms and renewable energy technology.
