Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund has made an investment in Taiwan-based
experiences distributor KKday to help it expand into the Chinese market.
The amount of funding was not released.
As part of the partnership, KKday has launched a store on
Fliggy, Alibaba Group’s travel portal.
“We feel this deal will drive many potential
collaborations - Fliggy is a great way for us to enter the Chinese market.
Alipay’s universality will help us reach customers in China and within
Southeast Asia,” says KKday’s chief executive officer Ming Chen.
