Travel agency and tour operator system supplier Dolphin Dynamics is to acquire the assets of Travelwire from Travelport.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The team from Travelwire, which offers mid and back-office technology to travel agents in the Nordics, will join U.K-based Dolphin and continue to support agents locally.
The deal, which gives Dolphin a boost in the Nordic region, is expected to close in September.
According to a statement, Dolphin will merge Travelwire’s capabilities with its own to “create an even more compelling offering for all customers.”
