PROS has launched PROS Kairos, an airline retailing platform with a shared workspace for pricing, airline data and artificial intelligence (AI).
PROS outlined key features of the Kairos platform, including tailored workspaces according to the user’s role and an AI assistant that users can communicate with using natural language.
The company said Kairos is designed to help airlines minimize manual steps and respond to changes in demand and competition faster.
The airline tech provider is initially focusing on two new capabilities, Product Catalog and Stock Keeper, to help airlines with the products they sell and how they manage stock.
Kairos doesn’t replace existing PROS products, and current agreements won’t automatically change, the company said. Existing products will be incorporated into the platform “progressively,” but both Product Catalog and Stock Keeper require new commercial agreements.
PROS also said that agentic AI is a “foundational capability” throughout Kairos, and it plans to extend agents across airline commerce applications such as revenue management, dynamic pricing, shopping, group sales optimization and offer marketing.
“For decades, airline commercial systems evolved slowly. Today, constantly shifting technology and global conditions can change within days, and standing still is no longer the cautious choice; it is the higher-risk one,” said Sunil John, CEO of PROS.
“We built PROS Kairos around that reality. Airlines need the flexibility to add capabilities quickly without being forced to choose between a fully custom build and a multi-year commitment to a single closed suite.”
The launch follows PROS’ shift to focus exclusively on travel retailing, announced earlier this year. The company was acquired by software investment firm Thoma Bravo in December 2025, valuing PROS at $1.4 billion.
PROS is extending its use of Databricks within Kairos, adopting the Databricks Data + AI Platform as the core data and AI foundation.
