Holiwise, a travel planning startup powered by artificial intelligence (AI), has raised approximately €1.5 million in pre-seed funding.
The investment in the London-based startup, which was founded in 2023, came from senior executives at Bank of America, Google, Barclays and Goldman Sachs.
Holiwise said the funding would go towards accelerating the development of its AI travel agent and dynamic packaging capabilities, as well as expanding its concierge service. The company has recently completed integrations with B2B hotel specialist HBX Group and Amadeus.

"We've identified a clear gap in the market between mainstream online travel agencies and high-end travel concierges," said Albin Eriksson Lippe, co-founder and CEO of Holiwise.
"Premium travelers are underserved, often forced to choose between impersonal, self-serve booking platforms or expensive concierge services that are slow to access."
Lippe said Holiwise is building an AI travel agent that combines technology with a tailored experience.
Bobby Previti, the lead investor on the round, agreed that there is a gap in the market adding that the "team is in the right place at the right time."
