India-based trip-planning and booking platform Holiday Tribe has secured approximately $3 million in pre-Series A funding. The round was led by Powerhouse Ventures, GSF and other angel investors.
The startup described the funding as “a mix of equity and debt” to be used for product innovation, to strengthen supplier networks in emerging and established destinations and to expand artificial intelligence infrastructure.
According to the Holiday Tribe LinkedIn page, the company offers two products for travelers. The first option is an instant customized package with expert assistance for those that prefer travel bundles. The second is an AI-powered self-planning and booking option for those who prefer to map out trips on their own.

“We remain undeterred in our mission: to build a seamless, intelligent travel platform that curates personalized experiences for differentiated travelers,” the company wrote on LinkedIn.
