Amadeus has partnered with Points International, enabling the integration of its technology with existing loyalty management systems from the distribution giant.
Amadeus Loyalty Management and Awards allows airlines to offer customers options for redeeming their frequent flyer points such as by combining points and cash or using them for upgrades and ancillaries.
The Points Loyalty Commerce platform enables airlines to target customers with personalized offers such as hotels as well as other incentives.
The idea of the partnership is for airlines to be able to boost redemption and member engagement for airlines by offering integrated services.
