The International Air Transport Association has a busy few months ahead.
In addition to the 2020 target (21 airlines, 20% distribution) for some of its airline members around NDC bookings, IATA is also starting to bring One Order onto the radar and increasingly talking about One ID, its identity management initiative.
Then there is the current momentum around sustainability and the environment and the role the organization has to play in terms of lobbying on behalf of airlines.
During the World Aviation Festival 2019 in London, PhocusWire spoke to IATA director general and CEO Alexandre de Juniac about many of the initiatives above.
He also touched on innovation within the organization and how projects are prioritized.
Finally, de Juniac discusses the greatest challenges facing IATA as well as the current biggest concerns for its airline members.
